AeroPress Timer app for iPhone and iPad

I probably wouldnt use my aeropress at all if not for this app. It takes out so much of the hassle. I recommend it to friends all the time.

Great app. Tons of variety in recipes. Very simple to use. Really like how theres different unit choices. Suggestions for future updates: - even more detail on recipes (what type of roast works best, what temperature to use, paper vs. metal filter, etc.) - updating the "championship pack" to include past winning recipes as well as the up-to-date champions recipes after each tournament - fine-tuning the timing on some recipes (ex.: usually 3 seconds isnt enough time to flip an inverted press; recipes dont give any time between "stir" and "plunge" when in reality you need to drop your stir stick, grab the plunger and set it up -- takes about 7-8 seconds)

I love my aeropress and love it even more now with this app. Its amazing how different a cup of coffee you can get from one device. Few features I wish this app would have as others have commented. 1. Water temp with the recipe 2. Ability to write notes about the recipe (a star system maybe for the recipe itself and notes I could write for myself like the grinder setting I used for the recipe etc.) 3. Ability to make own recipes. I know they have intentionally left this feature out but I still with I had it especially since the world championship recipes havent been updated recently. Otherwise a great app and cant recommend it enough if you love using an aeropress

A friend recently gave me an aeropress after it became obvious to them that I was intrigued by this "new" way of making coffee, yet too cheap to spend the $30 to buy one for myself. This app makes using the aeropress very easy. I love trying the different recipes, and the fonts, color, and function (user experience) of the app are fantastic. Overall, this app is a great companion to the aeropress and I use it multiple times each day!

I mean, Id pay a few bucks for a good cup of coffee. Why not have an app that helps me make an even better cup, at home? I love my press and this app helps me make coffee with flavor profiles I didnt even know were possible.

Think I chuckled when I first saw this. Downloaded out of curiosity. Turns out I was brewing my coffee way to long. Now Im making a perfectly balanced cup that isnt overpoweringly strong. Love the last update. Every new AP user should have this. In-app purchases are not pushed hard at all. P.S. When in a recipe swipe L to change the units to Simple/Volume/Weight

I love the idea of this app, and Im hopeful that the number of recipes expands with future updates. However the timer isnt working right on my iPhone 5, sometimes going way faster than it should. This is a critical function in the app. Pleeeeease fix it, as I really want to right a better review in the near future!

I like this app & really love my AeroPress. I think were a few steps away from a truly great app thought. The one big variable that seems to get no mention is temperature. Do these recipes work better or worse with a preheated AreoPress? What is the targeted water temp? The info that is there is good, its just light on info. Perhaps this app could contain links to other sources of info on recipes and tips for using the machine etc...

Surprised that none of the measurements are by weight. Not worth the money when all of these instructions are on different cafes/roasters websites.

The app while good, took away key features that existed prior to the update and did not disclose this loss of features in the update notes

Love the UX/UI great look and feel to the app. One improvement could be to add sound to the times - maybe one sound for 3 seconds before the next stage and a different sound to signal the end of that stage? When I am switching between pouring and stirring, I cant always keep an eye on the app to see how I am doing on time, so the audio would help make up for that. I believe there is an error with the Norway recipe: when you pull down to see the steps, it says to plunge for 10 seconds, but when you actually run the timer it gives you 30 seconds to plunge.

The app says to boil water and take it off the heat for a few seconds.....this isnt precise enough for all recipes. There should be different temps for each recipe. Other than that, its a great companion for the aeropress.
